Ours, like several other extension adhesives, are removed with an acetone based removing solution. Therefore, some questions you may ask yourself or your client are:
1) Is there an allergy to acetone (the main ingredient in nail polish remover)?
2) Is there an allergy to plastic or nylon?
Some other things to consider would be:
1) medications (oral or topical on the scalp),
2) a history of alopecia areata
3) pending or current chemotherapy treatment.
These considerations are just some of the reasons the Monkey Barrz Hair Extension Adhesive System is sold only to licensed cosmetologist.
