CAN ALL OF MY CLIENTS WEAR HAIR EXTENSIONS WITH MONKEY BARRZ?

Actually, more clients than ever before have the opportunity to wear hair extensions. This is because using Monkey Barrz requires no tension on the client's natural hair for the installation.

In some cases the client's hair is just too fine and slick to grip any braiding, weaving, or tying technique. In other cases, the client may produce too much natural oil from the scalp to sustain wax based adhesives.

These situations are not a problem for the stylist or client when using Monkey Barrz. The adhesive was specifically designed to eliminate these common dilemmas.

You must, of course do a professional analysis of your client's hair and scalp. If, in doing so, you determine that they are suitable for extension services, they should have great success wearing the Monkey Barrz adhesive.

WILL THE MONKEY BARRZ ADHESIVE DAMAGE MY CLIENT'S HAIR?

Again, the important issue here is the scalp and hair analysis This is just as important, if not more so, as it is with any chemical service you may be doing. In most cases the client can get a break from over processing their hair into an unrecognizable substance, in their never ending quest for VOLUME. By using hair extensions as an alternative, they may acquire the desired volume, length and style to replace that last deadly perm. (We love perms, just not as '"the solution to everything!')

Some people may have natural or chemically induced "cotton-candy" hair, even at the roots. This person would not be a good candidate for any extension service. Do the analysis, and if the scalp and roots are sound, you should be able to do the extensions.

The Monkey Barrz adhesive, in itself will not damage your client's hair. What is important is proper placement of the extensions in relation to the client's root direction. We provide an instructional video which contains helpful hints, as well as a direct support hot-line for all of your questions.

IS IT EXPENSIVE TO USE MONKEY BARRZ?

No. Our specially formulated 4 inch adhesive sticks are designed to flow through our temperature controlled trigger-fed guns with minimal to no dripping. This allows more adhesive for your dollar. When compared to other backbar expenses, such as tints and perms, the cost of using Monkey Barrz is miniscule. Investing in professional quality shears alone can exceed the price of our Master Kit.

HOW DOES MONKEY BARRZ WORK IN CONJUNCTION WITH MY OTHER SALON SERVICES?

Extensions services can work hand in hand with all of your other chemical and styling services. Use your cosmetological education and some planning in creating your extension design.

HOW DOES HEAT AFFECT MONKEY BARRZ?

Hot weather and blow drying will not affect Monkey Barrz. Simply avoid direct heat from curling irons on the adhesive during styling.

HOW DOES MONKEY BARRZ COME OUT OF MY CLIENT'S HAIR?

The removal is quick, easy and clean. Always use our specially designed Monkey Barrz Removing Solution to remove the extensions. Please read the removal instructions which accompany the solution, as well as the instructions for removal as demonstrated in our Monkey Barrz video.

CAN THE EXTENSION HAIR BE USED AGAIN AFTER REMOVAL?

If the removal process is used following the instructional video's techniques for careful and systematic removal of the extensions with our specially formulated adhesive removing solution, you may use the hair extensions several times.

WILL MONKEY BARRZ ADHESIVE REMOVING SOLUTION DAMAGE MY CLIENT'S HAIR?

No. Your clients will find this removal process to be more comfortable than the old heat and oil method. Shampoo the hair once or twice following removal and you are ready to continue the next service.

MUST I REHEAT MONKEY BARRZ ADHESIVE ONCE IT IS APPLIED, TO MAKE IT WORK?

No, you do not reheat our adhesive! We have eliminated this unnecessary step in the manufacturing of our product. This not only helps minimize your application time, but reduces stress on your client's hair.

IS THERE ANY WAY TO AVOID BURNING MY FINGERS?

Yes! We have created our Monkey Pads just for this purpose. You can now do a client's entire head without getting a single blister. The Monkey Pads are designed to keep your fingers from coming into contact with the adhesive, and they also help you to mold a perfect connection.
